Darian Valtrix was once a humble blacksmith’s apprentice in the war-torn land of Cyrelth. His village lay on the border of a kingdom locked in endless conflict. When his home was razed during one such war, Darian’s family was slaughtered, and he was left for dead amidst the smoldering ruins.

He survived, not out of luck but through sheer force of will. Rising from the ashes of his past, Darian sought refuge in a monastic order that worshiped Vorath, the god of justice and blood oaths. There, he honed his skills, not only as a warrior but also as a man bound by an unshakable code: justice, at any cost.

The red in Darian’s banner and armor, the blood-soaked hue that followed him into battle, became both his symbol and his curse. To his allies, he was a savior, a protector who would raise his shield against any foe. To his enemies, he was a terror clad in steel, cutting down armies with an unrelenting fury.

But Darian’s heart is heavy, for the blood on his hands is not just that of his enemies—it is also the blood of innocents caught in his pursuit of righteousness. His title, The Crimson Sentinel, is a reminder of the line he treads between hero and monster, and the lives he cannot save in his crusade.
